Hoy en d\u00eda, la empresa lucha con los mismos problemas que han plagado a numerosas tiendas por departamento por todo el pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan un art\u00edculo publicado recientemente por el peri\u00f3dico Orlando Sentinel titulado: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.orlandosentinel.com\/business\/la-fi-agenda-nordstrom-20160725-snap-story.html\"><em>\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 la minorista de lujo Nordstrom y otras gigantes similares de prendas de vestir han perdido su brillo<\/em><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.orlandosentinel.com\/business\/la-fi-agenda-nordstrom-20160725-snap-story.html\">?<\/a>, la raz\u00f3n por la que est\u00e1n luchando Nordstrom y otras tiendas por departamentos como Macy y Kohl se debe a \u00abuna disminuci\u00f3n en el tr\u00e1fico comercial, al gasto menor en el consumo de ropa, al creciente h\u00e1bito de compras <em>online<\/em> por parte de los consumidores y a una mayor competencia de las empresas de Internet como Amazon.com Inc.\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>A pesar de ser conocida por sus servicios ejemplares al cliente, su pol\u00edtica de devoluci\u00f3n liberal y por sus servicios en la tienda, \u00ablos compradores de Nordstrom, especialmente la generaci\u00f3n \u00abY\u00bb de (18 a 34), [compran] m\u00e1s ropa y accesorios por Internet. Otros han optado por gastar menos en ropa o la compran de los competidores de bajo precio.\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Erik Nordstrom, un copresidente de Nordstrom, dice que la migraci\u00f3n continua de los compradores hacia la Internet se esperaba, pero no a la velocidad a la que el cambio se produjo a partir de la segunda mitad del a\u00f1o pasado.
